What’s your favourite thing about working at Nortrans?
I have to say it’s the team. It’s the combination of the light-hearted atmosphere around the office and the collective hard work of the group. Everyone pulls together to get the job done.
How did you get your start in the transportation industry?
Probably 20 years ago I started driving oil field trucks hauling pipe and rigs around Northern Alberta. Since then I’ve done everything from fleet maintenance to dispatch.
It’s a sunny, Saturday afternoon in August. What are you up to?
I’m out on my bike – a Yamaha FJR 1300 – with a group of friends (all Harley riders). This summer I rode over 4100 kms around BC in one week. Let’s just say the Harley riders went home early.
