Rick Raber

Logistics Coordinator

What’s your favourite thing about working at Nortrans?
We’re a fun group of people. There’s always someone cracking a joke or telling a funny story at the office, so there’s no shortage of laughs.

How did you get your start in the transportation industry?
I started working for my family-owned company on the loading dock when I was only 14. As soon as I turned 16, I passed my driving test and was in a truck driving for almost the next 10 years. Since then I’ve worked across the industry in different roles.

It’s a sunny, Saturday afternoon in August. What are you up to?
Fishing, hands down! Ideally, I’m off the west coast of Vancouver Island near Bamfield, salmon fishing with my wife and son.
